Austin is known as the Live Music Capital of the World, so you know you’ve got some options if you want to catch a band playing. And there are plenty of options throughout the year to see live music with your family — some that are all-ages and some that are specifically geared toward kids.
If you want to catch some live music with your kids in the Austin area, check out these shows — a lot of them are free!
And honestly, there are just so many performances, at coffee shops and breweries, or at festivals, it’s hard to capture them all here. Check the calendar of events to see if any big shows are coming up!

You can grab food inside at the cafe, kids can play on the playground and everyone can dance by the band.
