Easter season is coming up, and you know what that means: Easter egg hunts! You can hide eggs at home, of course, but why not get out and enjoy the spring weather and one of Austin’s fun parks or businesses?

There are lots of ways to celebrate Easter in the weeks leading up to Easter (which takes place April 5 in 2026). Here are tons of egg hunts and Easter parties happening around Austin so you can find the one that works best for you!

Sweet Eats Fruit Farm Egg Hunts: Weekends from 3/21 to Easter weekend

Sweet Eats has Easter egg hunts every half hour on the weekends for kids to enjoy! The Easter Bunny will also be there for photos.

Bunny Bonanza at Northwest Rec Center: March 27

There will be games, crafts and an egg hunt at Northwest Recreation Center’s annual Bunny Bonanza.

Spring Fling at Austin Recreation Centers: March 28

Stop by one of the City of Austin’s rec centers to enjoy a morning filled with games, prizes, local vendors, and much more. It will be a fantastic time for the whole community to come together and celebrate the season.

Eggstravaganza by Buda Parks and Rec: March 28

The annual Eggstravaganza in Buda will happen from 9 am to 11:30 am at the Buda City Park Pavilion. Join in for an egg hunt, face painting, bounce house, food vendors, and touch-a-truck with the police department.

Easter Egg Hunt at Parque Zaragoza: March 28

You’re invited to the Parque Zaragoza Golden Ticket Easter Egg Hunt! There will be 3 separate egg hunts by age group and 20 Golden Tickets hidden inside eggs. Winners will redeem prizes at the Prize Table!

Alamo Springfest at Alamo Recreation Center: March 28

oin Alamo Recreation Center for Spring Fest on Saturday, March 28 from 10am-12pm. Enjoy egg hunts, games, and prizes! Toddler Egg Hunt will be at 10:30am and the All Ages Egg Hunt will be at 11am and 11:30am.

The event is FREE and open to the public.

Easter Egg Hunt at Bell Springs Winery: March 29

Fun for kids and adults at Bell Springs Winery. There are several time slots for different age groups. Tickets are $8 and include the egg hunt, mac and cheese, face painting, and live music.

Flashlight Egg Hunt at Old Settlers Park: April 2

Bring your flashlight to Old Settlers Park for a fun after-dark egg hunt! After the last hunt, stay for a screening of Dog Man.

Community Egg Dash at Metz Park: April 2

Hop on over to Metz Park Thursday, April 2 from 6:30-7:30pm for the egg dash! Activities include table games, door prizes, resource tables, crafts, Easter egg hunt & more. $3 cash to play all games.

Pinballz Easter Egg Hunt: April 3

From 11 am to 1 pm, all Pinballz locations are hosting a spring celebration. You can buy a standard ticket to get entry to age-based egg hunts, a $10 game card, themed crafts and activities and the golden egg challenge. Upgrade to a VIP ticket for 500 bonus tickets and to meet the Easter Bunny.

Dripping Springs Easter Egg Hunt and Fun Run: April 4

Let the kids run out the energy in a 1k run and then hunt for candy-filled eggs at Dripping Springs Ranch Park. There are also 5k and 10k races if you want to run too!

Dripping Springs Eggstravaganza: April 4

The annual Eggstravaganza will feature two helicopter egg drops this year, at noon and 3 pm. Buy your egg drop tickets for one of the time frames, but join the festive fun anytime from 10 am to 4 pm, with activities, vendors and food and drinks.

Easter Party at Fitzhugh Brewing: April 4

Join Fitzhugh Brewing from 11 am to 4 pm for Easter fun! You’ll find vendors, family fun and an egg hunt.

Austin Zoo Easter Egg Hunt: April 4

(2026 tickets don’t appear to be available yet, FYI. If you’re interested, reach out to the Austin Zoo) Kids ages 2 to 12 can take part in the annual egg hunt at the Austin Zoo. Tickets are $10 or $7.50 for zoo members and includes zoo admission for the day.

Free Egg Palooza event with eggs, prizes, face painting and more! Bring your basket and get ready for an egg-citing time! No registration is needed.

Frontyard Brewing Family Easter Celebration: April 5

This annual Easter egg hunt features 10,000 eggs for kids to find! Gates open at 11 and the hunt begins at 12:15. The Easter Bunny will be there for photos.

Easter Egg Hunt & Flower Planting at Meanwhile: April 5

Kids from babies to age 8 can take part in Meanwhile Brewing’s egg hunt with eggs filled with wildflower seeds! Then there will be a group seed scattering. Plus kids activities, brunch specials and live music. Sign-ups required for egg hunt.

This fun family-friendly San Marcos brewery is hosting an egg hunt on their soccer field at 11:30 (with easy and harder levels of hunting areas for different ages). RSVP and bring your own basket.

Easter Egg Hunt and Party at St. Elmo: April 5

Both locations of St. Elmo Brewing are hosting Easter celebrations with music, egg hunts, face painting and drink specials.

Doc’s Easter Egg Drop: April 5

Celebrate Easter with a 5000-plus egg drop, art stations, and pictures with the Easter Bunny at Doc’s Drive-In. Tickets required, and they expect the event to sell out.
