This free, community event celebrates the Travis County Parks with live music, food, kid’s activities, and more at Richard Moya Park!
Celebrate Earth Week at the 4th Annual For the Love of Parks Festival, hosted by the Travis County Parks Foundation — a free, family-friendly event celebrating the 27 Travis County parks that bring our community together.
This year’s festival features performances by Mr. Will, Money Chicha, and South Austin Moonlighters, along with face painting, a rock climbing wall, hands-on animal encounters, pick-up sports, interactive learning stations, delicious food, and plenty more to explore.
This year also marks the official public launch of the Park Stewards Program, a new initiative designed to empower community members to become lifelong park volunteers. Festival attendees will have the chance to learn about the program and sign up on-site to start making a lasting impact in their local parks.
New this year, guests can participate in the Park Passport Challenge. Visit activity stations throughout the festival to collect stamps, then turn in your completed passport to receive a free festival bandana and entry into a prize drawing.
Whether you come for the music, the activities, the parks, or the community, For the Love of Parks is a celebration of the spaces that connect us all.
Catch live music from Mr. Will (11:15), South Austin Moonlighters (12:20), and Money Chicha (1:55).
